Support Local Restaurants and Health Care Workers
Drive Thru For Tucson’s Frontlines is set up to take donations and with that money purchase meals for our frontline health care workers and pump money into our local restaurants and our local economy.
The Bobby and Bailey morning show on the locally owned radio station The Drive Tucson (KDRI) created the Drive Thru For Tucson’s Frontlines GoFundMe.
All of the money donated to KDRI’s GoFundMe is used to buy food from local restaurants struggling from the COVID-19 closures to feed our health care workers on the frontlines battling this pandemic.
Feast, a Tucson restaurant, is a proud contributor to many organizations in our community.
Feast, which offers a handful of vegetarian dishes and a number of gluten-free options as well as diabetic-friendly choices (and can accommodate other dietary restrictions if given notice), will be feeding those working in the Emergency Department and COVID-19 ward at Tucson Medical Center today (Friday, April 17).
Feast is donating some of the food themselves and a longtime friend of Feast has offered a $500 matching grant to go along with KDRI’s donation. If you want to help out, you can donate to Feast directly or to the general KDRI GoFundMe.
Call Feast directly at (520) 326-9363 to make a donation or to order food for yourself or a loved one. Click here for the menu, which includes a list (near the bottom) of what dishes they’re bringing to TMC.
