Top 10 highest, lowest paying states for family medicine
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the mean annual wage for family medicine physicians is $200,810.
The top states with the most family practitioners are California, Florida, Illinois, Texas and Missouri— but none of these states are among the top paying locations for family physicians, and in fact, one is on the list of lowest-paying states, the BLS reports.
