Katzenberg Leads Aug. 13 Lecture on Preventing Heart Disease

 

Former PCMS President Charles Katzenberg, MD, is the keynote speaker at a lecture presented by the UA Sarver Heart Center and the The Heart Series:  “Preventing Heart Disease for 25 Years: What We’ve Learned” on Sunday, August, 13, from 2-3:30 p.m. at Duval Auditorium on the Banner University Medical Center Campus.  Admission is free and free parking is available at the UMC Visitor Parking Garage.

 

Katzenberg is clinical professor of medicine, UA Sarver Heart Center at the College of Medicine – Tucson, co-founder of The Heart Series and board-certified cardiologist

 

who practices at Banner –University Medical Center’s North Hills Physician Offices. Other panelists include Adina Wingate, director of marketing and public relations at the Pima Council on Aging; Edna Silva, RN, co-founder of The Heart Series, and other panelists who are alumni of this biannual, intensive cardiac rehabilitation program.
