Annual Dues
When making application, you may also pay your first-year dues by CLICKING HERE. First-year dues are $100. Second-year dues are $170 and year three and beyond are $295.

Qualifications & Privileges of Membership
Active
An Applicant for Active Membership in this society must be in the active practice of medicine in the State of Arizona and the County of Pima. An exception is made in accordance with the bylaws of the Arizona Medical Association, Inc., Chapter III, Section 2, for a physician living near a county line who may hold membership in a county society other than his own, if that be more convenient for meeting attendance, upon first receiving permission of the Society in the County in which he resides. Active Members shall have all the rights and privileges of that society.
Associate
An Associate Member of the society shall be 1) a member residing in this County who through disability is unable to engage in the active practice of medicine or 2) who has retired from active practice or 3) a member who has left active practice to engage in post-graduate work for a period of six months or longer or 4) a member who has entered the armed forces and transferred to another country or state or 5) who has left practice in this country to engage in Public Health or other types of medical practice in foreign countries or 6) is engaged in active practice in another state. Associate Membership shall automatically cease and revert to the proper status upon termination of the disability or upon resumption of active practice in Pima County. Associate Members shall have all the rights and privileges of membership except the right to vote or hold office.
Service
The Board of Directors may recommend the society elect as Service Members, Doctors of Medicine and Doctors of Osteopathy who are regularly commissioned medical officers or the reserve component on extended active duty with the United States Army, Navy, Air Force and Public Health Service, serving in Pima County. Service Members shall not have the right to vote or hold office.
Resident / Fellow
A Resident/Fellow Member must be in full-time post graduate training. Resident/Fellow Members shall have all the rights of membership. Resident/Fellow may not be elected to the offices of President, President-Elect, Vice-President or Secretary Treasurer.
Student
A Student Member may be any applicant who is an enrolled student in a college of Medicine or Osteopathy. Student Members shall have all the rights of membership. Students may not be elected to the offices of President, President-Elect, Vice-President or Secretary Treasurer.
Affiliate
An Affiliate Membership of this society shall be 1) dentists who are members in good standing in their local and state societies 2) pharmacists 3) teachers of allied sciences as approved by the Board of Directors 4) those persons certified as Physician Assistant residing in Arizona. Affiliate Members shall enjoy the privileges of attending scientific meetings, but shall not have the right to vote or hold office.
