Dr. Sandock Receives Silver Spike Honor from Transportation Museum

Ken Sandock MD, a member of the Pima Medical Society Board of Directors, received the Southern Arizona Transportation Museum’s Silver Spike Award as Benefactor of the Year. The award is named after the Silver Spike mined and finished by the Toughnut Mine in Tombstone. It commemorates the arrival of the Southern Pacific Railroad in Tucson in 1880.

Sandock has served at the museum for 6 years as docent, webmaster, audio-visual and computer support. He serves on their Board of Directors and the Tucson Computer Society.
