ADHS prepares to launch DAVE

In September, the Arizona department of Health Services (ADHS), Bureau of Vital Records will launch the state’s new electronic death registration system call the Database Application for Vital Events (DAVE).  It replaces the current system called the Vital Systems Information Management System (VSIMS).

ADHS is asking that physicians use the DAVE system to certify the cause of death on death certificates once the new system is up and running.
