Community Rotations Needed for Medical Students

The scarcity of community rotations for medical students is another unanticipated COVID-19-related crimp. There is an immediate need for rotations in family practice, pediatrics and obstetrics and gynecology.

Pima County Medical Society and the Tucson Osteopathic Medical Foundation have agreed to become a clearinghouse for physicians interested in having MD and DO medical students rotate with them. They will pass your name on to the medical school regional rotation medical directors. Those medical directors have all the information about times, dates and student educational needs.

Call Dennis Carey at PCMS (520) 795-7985 or Steve Nash at TOMF (520) 299-4545. You may share any vacation dates or student number restrictions that you wish passed on to the medical directors.
